About

My name is Heather, and I’m a graduate student in Political Theory. My main focus is on cognitive disability and political theory; however, I am also interested in feminist philosophy, comparative political thought, and global justice.

My goal with this blog is to make philosophy more accessible to a general audience, as I think that the public is excluded from academic debates, especially debates about political philosophy, far too often. Many people lack formal access to education, and formal philosophy can be inaccessible even to formally educated audiences. As such, I am an advocate of ‘pop’ philosophy, provided it is done well.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
